october project
I created my first website in 1993. Over the years I have made many revisions to the website to experiment with new aspects of HTML and later CSS. October Project is an endeavor to create a personal website using XHTML and CSS for layout.
In the past I have exhibited OCD tendancies when it came to layout using tables. This time around my plan is to focus initially on a simple design, and add more as motivation and time permits.
Using CSS for layout has one drawback: older browsers have no or poor support. I say, in the words misattributed to Marie Antoinette: "Let them eat cake!" If you have an old browser, get newer version now!
